Let me guess why your here...

Hello, all of you.

I'm assuming, regardless of what they say, that you are here because you saw my latest video, a trailer for my Choice Machinima Series....what's that? You have no idea what I'm talking about?! Well then, Click Here and go get educated...

Ok, so now I'm assuming the rest of you have seen it...so why are you here? Information? SURE, I can give you that...

So, if the trailer wasn't clear, I have come up with a new concept on a way to create and watch Machinima. I know for a fact that I have watched many different Machinima in my time, and for some of them I feel like the direction the plot took wasn't that great, or it was something I didn't care for. Depending on the series, I loose interest this way. If the story is what you are watching it for, then when the story does something you don't like, you can become quite disinterested. Couple that with the attention span that is average on the internet (which is short, i'm guessing....maybe i'm prejudice because I have a short attention span...well, whate...SHINY) and there goes a series.

So what sort of gimmicks could one use to keep viewers coming back? Well, you could use popular jokes that worked once, but then it all becomes stale due to repetition. One could try to make it dynamic, pushing the envelope and do something none have attempted, but that isn't as easy as it sounds. Or, you could give the video or series some sort of interactivity, that way people come back because they have something to do...whatever that might be.

Obviously, the Choice Machinimas (because I have at least 2 series to do this way, and it's not going to stop there) are using the last example. I have to admit, however, that I got the Idea from Tim Buckley, the creator of Ctrl Alt Del. He ran a storyline in which people could make a choice, and it would direct the story to one of a few different outcomes. This worked nicely in my honest opinion, and while I was always too lazy too vote, I enjoyed watching user input influence the media I was reading. It clocked in at a total 13 pages (not including the title page) and was enjoyable.

As far as the Choice Machinimas go, I won't be applying the same rules. And I can't let the first one go crazy with input, as I need to work this thing out. So, within the next few weeks, there will be another trailer coming out, but this one will be for one of my series singularly, and then the pilot episode should be out by mid-march. Now, I do plan on having user input in the first episode, so there will most likely be a poll or something coming out soon. More info to come on that soon. If you like the idea and want to participate, by all means keep an eye on this blog. Also, tell your friends or random passerby on the street who don't seem to have a concealed weapon...they aren't too scary, I assure you.

I'm going to need people for this, so in all seriousness, spread the word if you can.

I am EXTREMELY Compulsive...

...and that tends to lead to an excessive amount of stories that don't have enough depth to expand upon...but then again, it wasn't my compulsion that started the idea, just made it happen...

So yesterday, I was sitting around my room in front of my laptop while my younger brother was playing Halo. He turned to me and said "Hey Mike, you know what would be awesome ?" So he tells me about this obscure, nonsensical idea. It's not even a minutes worth of anything, and it is so obscenely stupid.

I look him straight in the eye, and say "Let's do it"

And thus, on that very day, My new series, currently Entitled (Might change very soon as the first episode is ready to go) Jason's World. It will be a shorts series, filled with episodes of the dumbest things you could think of seeing in a halo 3 environment.

So, this new series will launch Monday, September 22nd, with it's first (and currently only) episode. Please subscribe to my Channel if you like what you see, or actually are waiting for this series to start on Monday.

Till Then!!!

To The Few Readers I Possibly Have...

I have begun finalizing the script...for a good six episodes...I still have about, say, six or more to write, but things are looking good!

The best part about the writing first is that I know EXACTLY what I want to see in the film. I have started filming little clips myself, but they are small little things right now, no more than two characters at a time, which is so rare in my scripts that I should be killed for it (seriously, my ambitions for this thing are CRAZY...I've got way to many scenes with 16 people in them...) but whatever, I shall suffer for it when I film later...

Also, I will be re-doing that shit teaser that I put up just recently...I just got a better program than Windows Movie Maker, and I will also have the Scrubo Productions intro done and finished, the one that will appear in all of my works...

Furthermore, I am doing a lot of flash animations for the episodes, and some for the re-worked teaser...also, one for a trailer I am putting out sooner or later (maybe Octoberish...I'm not sure yet...) and then some other ones for the episodes...

So, I'll leave you all with this for now...it is going to be an AWESOME Spring...

EPIC PHAIL!!!!

So....my laptop works, and it captures....now I am just searching for some nice software, and learning how to use what I have....

In slightly-more-related news, I think I am ready to start some filming....-goes to turn on 360.......little red light starts to flash- Oh shit! That's right, I forgot that my FUCKING XBOX IS NOT WORKING!!!!

I don't have the three red rings, I just have one, puny insignificant ring, coupled w/ error 74 which equals pain in the ass just LIKE the red rings....Basically, the error is caused when a chip that reads the A/V cable comes loose, or when the A/V cable fucks up....I would LOVE to assume it is the latter, but most LIKELY, it is the former...so in other words, I can't even get out a fucking TEASER any time soon....although, there is always another way, but mooching off my friends can wait for a little while.....

So for now, I have NOTHING to offer.....god, this pisses me off >:(

Some good news to leave you off with....I am going on vacation today and won't be back until the 18th....

Some bad news to negate the good news before you go......This vacation means all xbox fixing plans are 7 days later than they could be........

FUCK!
